This job touched every room in the house. Walls were moved to create larger and more open spaces, heated tile floors
were installed for added comfort, windows were added to view city from the high Avenues area and finally,
a pool was installed to enjoy the hot summer days.

Full tear down and rebuild from the existing foundation up.
This project involved removing the entire house structure, as seen in the before photos, adding a rear addition
to the home and building the entire new home from the basement floor up. It's truly amazing how much space was
created in a compact building area. A new detached two car garage was built behind the home, accessible from a
city alley. This home features some amazing materials from the Tigerwood floors throughout the main and upper
levels, to the Serrenghetti Gold granite countertops, both from Africa.

Full Second Story & Rear Additions with Complete Remodel
This was a very fulfilling project for all of us to work on. We had the opportunity to work hand in hand with a very talented
Interior Decorator, "Vivian Dowsett". By the time we were finished with the project, the entire home was remodeled with major
changes having been performed in every room of the house. These pictures don't even come close to the true feel and comfort the home
has.

Full Second Story & Rear Addition
This project was built using a different set of situations to deal with. Instead of retrofitting the entire main floor on the inside for siesmic
code requirements, the second story was built basically floating above the ceiling of the original home. The new posts in the front of the home
along with the new columns imbedded in the brick on the sides, support the new structure. Since a picture is worth a thousand words,

Complete Reconstruction & Addition
This typical tudor in the Harvard/Yale area was a very well kept home that came available to us and was calling for major renovation.
The original home that was used was retrofitted for siesmic requirements and an addition was constructed expanding the basement,
main floor, and second level. A new garage with second story storage was added as well.

From Duplex to Luxury 3-Story - Addition and Total Remodel
This property was built as a duplex in the 70's Prior to this it was the rose garden for the home to the west.
When the duplex was built, the architectural style didn't seem to fit in the area. It has been a rental property until
the property was purchased by Markim. The area and street speak for themselves. The property needed a total facelift, re-styling, and addition
to better suit the needs of the current buyers for the area. Browse through the photos to more fully appreciate the transformation and conversion from

Second Story Addition and Total Remodel
This property started out as a typical 1930's/40's rambler. It was well constructed with double
brick exterior walls and lath & plaster interior. The home had two bedrooms and 1 full
bath on the main floor. The basement had two bedrooms and a 3/4 bath. The old "Rambler" syle
became more of a "Craftsman" style. The entire second floor was added along with approx. 100
square feet on the main floor. Various hardwoods, granite, wall textures and styles were
used throughout this home. It is well worth a look!

Tear Down and Rebuild
This project should serve as inspiration to anyone struggling with the decision of working with
what they have (eventhough it may be very ugly), or looking for something else. The foundation and
first floor were the only structures worth keeping. There were times (many), when we even questioned
that decision. This has turned out to be a fantastic project!

Complete Exterior Update & Remodel, New Garage & Pool House
This home received a facelift of sorts. We only changed a few aspects of the structure. The goal was
to rebuild all of the soffits and eaves because of years of deterioration due to sun and water. The roof
system was slightly changed and re-shingled using hand split shakes, like the original. All of the
roof flashings were custom made with copper along with the drips, collectors and down spouts. The beaded
soffits were re-built and the mouldings were milled to match the original. A new garage was added along
with a swimming pool mechanical room, a 3/4 bath, and plenty of storage.

A complete re-construction that started out with 1800 square feet and ended up with 5400 square feet.
The only parts of the original home that were saved were the foundation and front facade. A great family home!
